Overview
As an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant, George Renfrew provides a unique perspective to Pedersen & Houpt's Wealth Preservation Practice Group.
George counsels fiduciary, corporate and individual clients on a variety of legal, tax and financial matters.
His practice includes the development and implementation of client specific estate plans, living trusts, wills, disclaimers, powers of attorney, irrevocable and revocable trusts, and other estate planning devices for wealth transfer and business succession planning. In addition, George assists trustees, beneficiaries, guardians, and other family members in probate proceedings, including administration of estates.
George has extensive knowledge of tax planning and compliance. He has experience in the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and trusts. He is experienced in preparing and reviewing more complex returns such as those for consolidated corporations, real estate entities and investment partnerships.
