Pedersen & Houpt Participates in the Chicago Bar Foundation's 2012 Investing in Justice Campaign
Every March, thousands of lawyers, legal professionals and other organizations of all sizes come together during The Chicago Bar Foundation's annual Investing in Justice Campaign. This community-wide effort builds the capacity of our overburdened pro bono and legal aid system, and helps ensure that everyone in our community has access to justice.
On Thursday, March 8, 2012, the attorneys of Pedersen & Houpt will be joining in this effort. Marc Janser and John Muehlstein, as co-Vice Chairs of the Investing in Justice Campaign, are hosting an after-work "Happy Hour" Fundraiser Event to benefit the Chicago Bar Foundation. This will be a fun evening with drinks, hors d'oeuvres and fantastic raffle prizes. For more information about this event, please contact Emily Mansell (312 261 2586, firstname.lastname@example.org).
100% of the funds raised in the Campaign go directly toward CBF grants for more than 35 pro bono and legal aid organizations, allowing them to provide critical legal assistance to tens of thousands of people in need.
Thanks to our attorneys' generosity, the CBF can provide grants to assist the elderly, the disabled, veterans, children, domestic violence victims, immigrants fleeing prosecution and abuse, and many other low-income and disadvantaged people in need of legal assistance.
